Finally a ski-mountaineering guide-book for Italy's Central Appennines, the first covering such a large territory and the only one with English and Italian text.
The 106 routes include all the main mountains groups of Central Appennine:

- Terminillo
- Monti della Laga
- Gran Sasso
- Velino-Sirente
- Maiella
- Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo
- Simbruini ed Ernici

In this guide you will find every kind of route: from the classics to the less known, from the easy and undemanding to the more "alpinistic" ones, where a good knowledge about ropes, ice-axes and crampons is mandatory and where the descend requires good skiing technique. Routes both remunerative due to the environment and exciting for the demanding skier are presented.
In the descriprions, all the necessary informations and warnings are provided (such as difficulty, required gear, prevalent slope orientation, height climbed, time for the ascent and cartography) and beside the description several black and white photos, with the itinerary in colour, are presented. In some cases, where the photo with the entire itinerary was not available, we realized detailed drawings in scale.
